REPORTING CHANNEL
How to Report Content on Fotto

This letter is an extension of our brand manifest and aims to formally communicate how Fotto’s reporting channel works for exclusivity issues, reinforcing our commitment to a safe and transparent environment for the sale of photographs. We are also sharing this communication with other photography platforms and companies that monitor Fotto, especially in cases where they or partner companies hold exclusivity over certain events.
Overview
Fotto functions as a technology platform for the commercialization of photographs, where all content related to the sale of photos — referred to as galleries or events — is created and made available directly by its users (photographers or photography companies), and not by Fotto itself. This means that, for example, a photographer covering a road race can publish their images in a gallery within the platform, allowing athletes to purchase their photos quickly and without Fotto’s intervention.Similarly, companies that run social, cultural, or corporate events can also make photographic records available for their clients and participants to access and purchase directly.
In other words, Fotto works as a collaborative digital environment that connects those who produce professional images with those who want to buy them, without the platform creating or editing the published content.
Step by step
Fotto has a formal channel for receiving issues related to the exclusivity of an event, accessible directly on the platform www.fotto.com.br. Thus, if the holder of exclusive rights over the photographic coverage of a given event finds photos from that event published on the Fotto platform, they can access the respective gallery, event, or the photographer/company profile, click the three-dot icon (⋮) and select the option “Report”.This is the official and valid path for handling content considered improper.
- 1
Access the content or profile
Go to the gallery/event page or the photographer/company profile and click the three dots (⋮) to view the options. - 2
Select “Report”
Choose the “Report” option and proceed to the specific form, where you can indicate the reasons for the report. - 3
Describe the reason and details
Objectively describe the reason for the report (in this case, exclusivity violation). - 4
Attach evidence
Add documents or proof that can support the report, such as contracts, authorizations issued and signed by event organizers or venue owners, screenshots, or formal notifications. - 5
Confirm your contact details
Provide an email or phone number for a reply. If you represent a company, also include the business name and the CNPJ (if applicable). - 6
Verification by the Fotto team
Our team performs a technical and documentary analysis of the case and, when applicable, will contact the photographer or company responsible for the content for validation and clarifications. - 7
Possible measures
Based on the analysis, Fotto may temporarily or permanently remove the reported content, request information adjustments, require additional documents from the responsible party, or apply warnings and other measures provided for in the platform’s Terms of Use.
It is also worth noting that Fotto is not responsible for the individual actions of its users, nor for incidents arising from the use of the platform. We act as technological intermediaries and strive to ensure the space is safe and trustworthy, but the primary responsibility for the content published lies with those who create it.Community support is essential to maintain this commitment because, together, we can strengthen respect for the platform’s rules and applicable legal standards.
